The internet, being invented for exchange, has been home to innovations in communication since its inception. Casually, we could include every program written to interact with the network as a 'collaboration' model. Most useful to our interests here are those that facilitate direct exchange of human words (thus ideas) via the world wide web. For context, we'll briefly cover the root models that led to our context of the web. Reviews will be grouped into two categories:
